"Take Flight" is the end of the journey, or the beginning, depending on how you see it. It was the first song we wrote. It represents air, and at the same time hallucinogenic mushrooms. The subject wants to escape from his prison of the self, the ocean. He creates a river, flowing onto the land, which is a realm outside of himself. He seeks guidance to liberate his soul, and the wise turtle has the answers. The turtle is a link between water and land, and offers the subject a mushroom to achieve his freedom. The subject goes through another transformation, becoming air, the most free of elements. He has escaped his ego and can see things from a broader perspective.
